Latest News Reguarding Placement of Elevators on Critical Dunes.
July 2008 - Suprising reversal by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality reguarding placement of "Private Residential Incline Elevators" on Critical Dunes! Special Exception Permits are no longer required as long as all other aspects of the Act are followed.

Marine Innovations Gains Approval From the MESB.
June 2008 - Marine Innovations gains "conditional" approval for the installation of a "Drum Drive" Residential Incline Elevator for a project in Laketown Township (Holland). Upon final inspection by the State of Michigan Elevator Safety Bureau and acceptance by the Michigan Elevator Safety Board "Full" approval will be granted.

Marine Innovations is the First to Gain Full Approval in the State of Michigan.
July 2007- Marine Innovations becomes the first Residential Incline Elevator Manufacturer to gain "Full Approval" in Michigan under the latest National Elevator Code (ASME A17.1, 2004 Sec 5.4) Their industry leading "Private Residential Traction Incline Elevator" is the only "legally" installable product available to Michigan's homeowners.
